LOCATIONSet in the heart of the Barossa Valley. Local wineries are only a short drive away in all directions through the distinctive German-heritage valley towns.
FOOD AND BEVERAGEThe launch of the new winter menu at Harry’s Restaurant – the Novotel Barossa Valley Resort’s signature dining venue – is luring diners with fresh, creative and mouth-watering gastronomic experiences and a heavy emphasis on local produce. Harry’s Menu entices diners to explore the famed region’s many gastronomic delights
GRAMPS BARGramp’s Bar is now an even better place to warm a bar stool, having been redefined to include Barossa Platters with a focus on regional cuisine – such as the aptly-named ‘Butcher, Baker, Valley Cheese Maker’, which consists of Lachschinken & Garlic Mettwurst from Lyndoch with Zimmy’s Relish, Fresh 1918 Loaf from Apex Bakery and Baby Camembert from Barossa Valley Cheese Company. There is also a decadent Haigh’s chocolate fondue.
TASTING ROOMNovotel Barossa Tasting Room, which opened at the resort late last year, has been providing a contemporary and intimate space for guests to sample – and buy – premium Barossa wine and local produce such as Barossa Sauces, Maggie Beer Cabernet Paste and Lyndoch Lavender Farm hand lotion, without having to leave the comfort of the hotel. The Tasting Room’s daily wine tastings give local wineries, large and small, the chance to showcase their wine outside of their cellar doors yet still in the heart of the vines from which they are produced. The cosy, modern space – which has floor-to-ceiling glass walls – is also carving out a niche market for small, intimate VIP dinners.
