PROFILED BY DE GROOTS MEDIAThe Bali Grill is the loving creation of owner Kim Rich and has been gracing Brisbane with its presence for over ten years. This restaurant has a lot of heart and soul, which is evident in every aspect of the restaurant from the genuineness of the staff, the effort put into creating a unique menu, and the passion of the chefs. Kim Rich is the force behind this creation, basing her training around the principles of Buddhism. Her philosophy is to instil in her staff a passion and enjoyment in their work that extends beyond their job into everyday life. The results speak for themselves.
The restaurant is in an ideal location upstairs overlooking Baroona Road and Rosalie Village. The menu is a tome of lengthy detail, featuring entrees, Balinese hot pots, healthy stir fries, salads, East West dishes, curries, and noodles. Then of course there is the wine list which, needless to say, makes the decision making process rather longer. The cuisine itself is unique, a cuisine Kim calls East West, adopting a little of both cultures and flavours whilst remaining healthy. Many of the dishes are served with fresh fruit and vegetables, whilst others are gluten-free or light.
