Mulled wine, but maybe it's more appropriate for Christmas in July or the northern hemesphere. Favourite Christmas restaurant destination..? The Hudson, New York.

I reckon it's a true blue Aussie Christmas - view of the beach, kids with sand on their feet, running in and out of the restaurant, fresh seafood, Christmas hats on happy, hot faces. I'm thinking Bondi - Nick's or North Bondi Italian Food or even North Bondi RSL!

Great Christmas restaurant dining is meeting with all the family in a top class restaurant. With an eclectic menu, served by friendly happy staff who welcome guests like family. The destination....Rome of course!

Family sharing an extensive banquet either at home or in a lovely restaurant. The table should be set with bonbons and there should be a kris kringle at the conclusion of the meal. The banquet favourites including mussles in a chorizo and spanish broth, roast pork and lamb with approproate sides, bbq garlic prawns, salads and a good selection of deserts - ie mini chocolate mouse, mini cakes, mini creme caramel/brule, mini puddings with custard. The wine - a good selection of light wines from around Australia - particularly if it is over 30%. The destination - home is where the family is.

Family at Christmas is the most important part of the dining experience. It's a time that we all gather to celebrate with delicious food and wine at our favourite Italien Restaurant - Il Nido

Family and friends are by far the most important feature of a good Christmas dining experience. We still enjoy a traditional lunch with roast dinner and pudding - strange but true!!! The kids of course fight fot the pudding to find the shillings to trade in for real money!!!

Great Christmas dining has to be at your favourite resturant where the staff and owners are family and are familliar to you,as much as your own family, being loved at christmas is a terriffic feeling. Wonderful atmosfear brimming with tinsle christmas decore and cheers,a relaxed place to enjoy family and friends over a nice drop of wine.Generous servings of fine simplistic tasting freshly grown food. Which wine you ask?Well it won't matter because your favourite resturant would know what your favourite wine is anyway. What is your favourite Christmas restaurant destination? After reading about Bells St Killcare,Northern NSW ,my family have not stopping raving about it.So that has to be my no.1

Christmas is the only time every year that my entire extended family get together to have fun, eat and share stories on what's happened in the past year. The restaurant that I particularly enjoy going to is Half Moon in Brighton Victoria.

There is nothing quite like fresh cold ham carved from the bone and served with mango salsa, fresh bread and salad. Oh and my Mums' Christmas Pudding, served with my sisters brandy custard and cream.

That blissful feeling that only comes once a year, when gravy becomes guilt-free, sprouts taste good, and brandy-soaked desserts make Cliff Richard sound good.
