Must Winebar, Mt Lawley, WA
Their private dining room is the perfect location. You can see the chefs busily preparing your meal and overlook the restaurant (or close it off if you want to get rowdy on your own). The food is absolutely fabulous with a fantastic wine selection to choose from. If you aren't sure on what to choose the events coordinator and the sommelier are only too happy to help out and I have now had two function there and their advice has been spot on each time. Most importantly, for the look and feel of the venue, it isn't as expensive as I was expecting. Definitely not a budget option, but if you are looking for somewhere nice that offers great value for money then this is the best option around!

Cruise Events, Circular Quay, NSW
What more can you ask for at a function that amazing views of Sydney Harbour and the Operate house. Cruise function spaces are stunning and your guests can enjoy a cocktail indoors and outdoors on their balcony.

Fort Denison Restaurant - Sydney.
Apart from being an iconic landmark of Sydney it is now possible to experience a dining experience with the very best views the harbour has to offer i.e. waterfront views of the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. The cannon promptly goes off at 1.00 pm each day for an added novelty. Apart from a magnificent brunch or dinner under a white marquee, Fort Denison are also aiming at the corporate and wedding markets. On offer at the moment is a Cheese & Wine Experience for corporate, team building events or special groups; restaurant and group bookings; restaurant corporate bookings and weddings. Or maybe you would like to attend their "once in a lifetime experience for New Year's Eve at $1,000 per head. I have had lunch here and was thoroughly impressed and prices were quite reasonable. Service is great and they don't hurry you. I have also chosen this venue as, the fact that you get there by the Matilda ferry adds that bit of excitement to it all. Round trip ferry is $17 pp.

Montsalvat - An historic artists' community in Eltham, Victoria. I have been there for weddings, but it would be equally suited for corporate functions. It features many dining options, far removed from the office environment, all on a beautiful 12 acre property amid the rustic grandeur of hand-crafted galleries and a dining hall. The team at Montsalvat will make the planning easy by assisting with arranging the catering and live entertainment.

Fling Dining Room, ACT
We recently had a business luncheon at Flint in Canberra. They certainly know how to look after a group of fussy lawyers.

For small functions, I recommend emmilou in Darlinghurst, small intimate and very reasonable.

My favourite venue in Brisbane is Vinos, the staff there are amazing and it is right at Eagle Street Pier overlooking the water, the wine list is exceptional and pleased by wine connoisseur boss.
